Well  the title explains it .. 

the ckeditor emoticons work .. but inside YAF the emoticons on the left , clicking them doesnt add the bbcode or the image it self , 

I think its made to insert the bbcode in the default editor of YAF but ckeditor is WYSIWYG  , so that could be an issue .. 

but is there a work through ? ..

  It should work required javascript is correctly loaded depending on what dnn editor provider is used. it works in my dnn installations. I tested it also on your site and it worked as expected.

Tried in Firefox and yup you right ... did you use IE ? .. 

well so its confirmed that it doesnt work in Chrome atleast,  have to wait for there update ? or ... 

No i tested it with opera & chrome both work, also on your site
